Lee has over 25 years’ experience within a range of independent and multinational financial services organisations, most recently, since 2014, as Risk and Compliance Director of a mid-sized independent fiduciary business.

Lee has a science degree and postgraduate certificate in education from the University of Southampton and subsequently spent several years teaching A-level biology at a local independent college.

On transitioning to a career in financial services, Lee obtained the ICA International Graduate Diploma in Compliance (Merit) through the University of Manchester Business School in 2009 and completed the Institute of Directors’ company direction programme in 2016, attaining the Certificate (Distinction) in Company Direction and following up with the Diploma in Company Direction.

Lee has extensive knowledge and experience in the fiduciary industry and, in particular, the development and implementation of effective risk and compliance frameworks. Lee joined the firm in September 2022 as Head of Compliance and was appointed to the board in December 2024.

Lee is married with three children, and much of his spare time is spent failing to control the family’s two rescued Brittany spaniels.
